What if I lose or damage a library book?

You'll need to pay double the book's current price. For new, important, or rare titles the cost can be up to three times the price, and if the book is part of a multi-volume set you're responsible for the full set. If pages or illustrations are missing when you return a book, you'll be charged the full cost of the book.
